ascsoms

Wed 26th Nov @ 20:00 UTC

Bandcamp

The artist wears a white retro lampshade on his head, in front of a vibrant blue-painted wall.

A small ceremonial soaking of moving sounds.

ascsoms is the solo project of Adam Wimbush. He has one foot firmly planted in Musique Concrete traditions and the other in electronic improvisation.

Tape and sound experiments are used to explore sonic spaces. This ever evolving sound world is made using semi-generative systems of analogue equipment, tape-loops, field recordings, found sounds, miscellaneous electronics and a rotating cast of effects pedals. The results are full of emotion and texture, drones and repetition. They are distilled and released, then like some aural alchemist these experiments are mixed and manipulated again to create newer pieces, an ever evolving sound world.

ascsoms is also a keen collaborator, being one half of sound effects duo Electronic Sound Pictures and half of Bagombo Snuffbox.

Sonaura

Sat 29th Nov @ 20:00 UTC

Bandcamp

The artist sits in studio. Blurry gear on a wooden desk is visible in the background.

Dreamy drone-based ambience.

Sonaura is an experimental ambient musician from Kent, UK utilising drones, degraded tape loops and found sounds to build dreamy abstracts.

“In this stream I will be improvising using homemade tape loops 2 different 4 track recorders, synth, fx pedals and whatever else i fancy on the day to create dreamy drone-based ambience. It may get a little noisy with some internal feedback loops. It may get sweet and melodious. It will definitely be a meditative journey.”

Remember Glaciers

Sun 30th Nov @ 20:00 UTC

Bandcamp / YouTube / Instagram

The artist stands in front of a white glacier, crisp blue sky in the background.

Icecore 2025-11-30 (Peru 2025).

Memories of Peruvian glaciers shared by RĂŠmi Chaintron echo and fade into glacially slow improvised generative ambient soundscapes made with a Moog and VCV Rack hybrid modular synthesizer. We may be the last generations to remember glaciers: if you have memories of glaciers you would like to share, please get in touch.

electric.kitchen

Tue 2nd Dec @ 20:00 UTC

electric.kitchen focuses on the live performance of experimental electronic music, focused on a journey through sound, timbre and rhythm. Instrumentation includes both analog and digital synthesis, DIY hardware and software. Interaction between performer and instrument is primary, utilizing multiple human interface controllers. Mark Lentczner studied electronic music composition with Ivan Tcherepnin and African drumming with Arthur Hull. He creates custom software and hardware for experimental music.

Meljoann

Wed 3rd Dec @ 16:00 UTC

Website

TThe artist stands between two ghostly copies of herself, in blown-out sepia.

Mustics™ Unwellness Hour

As an employee in the wellness industry, I feel a little rebellious. Isn’t illness natural? Our bodies need to heat up, sweat and excrete or expunge copiously sometimes. In this stream, I will explore sounds that make me feel unwell. I hope you will celebrate the precarious sensation of embodiement with me.

Rashamon

Fri 5th Dec @ 20:00 UTC

Bandcamp

The artist wears dark goggles reflecting mysterious tech.

This Morbid Mix.

With their latest album, This Morbid Age, Rashamon have looked more to an instrumental, beatless soundscape of drones, strings and pounding analog pulses to soundtrack the downfall of a rotten world. But hey, it’s Friday so let’s PARTY!!!!

shimmerglisten

Fri 5th Dec @ 21:00 UTC

Website / Bandcamp

The artist appears behind the peeling bark of a tree, all tinted green.

The Last Plum On The Tree.

An improvisation honouring the change from summer to autumn using tape loops, heavily processed guitar and loopers.

shimmerglisten was borne out of the pandemic - music to celebrate nature and the seasons in all its forms. A mixture of  heavily modulated guitar textures, tape loops, synths, and choral elements in order to create  lush, organic hypnotic soundscapes with a pervasive sense of foreboding and wonder.

Tam Lin

Sat 6th Dec @ 20:00 UTC

Links

The artist bares teeth at the camera, against an industrial green background.

Fizzy! and friends.

The persona of Tam Lin reflects our social media age, in which ‘real’ selves overlap uncomfortably with digital appearances. Their latest LP, “Fizzy!”, journeys through the paradoxes of our online existence, exploring what it “sounds like to exist simultaneously everywhere and nowhere… perpetually logged in but always searching for signal” (Foxy Digitalis). Using modular synthesis, industrial drum patterns & half sung vocals, Tam Lin morphs between aesthetics of hypersmooth tech, digitally degraded content, and clumsy IRL experiences.

this occasional society

Sun 7th Dec @ 16:00 UTC

Website

The artist walks on a forest path, face half visible under a hood.

Live from an intermediate place, Southampton, UK.

this occasional society has been releasing instrumental, sometimes ambient, but increasingly noisy, ‘filmic’ electronica since 2021.

Musical reference points mentioned by listeners have included The Album Leaf, Biosphere and Pye Audio Corner, but they continue to work to define and hone their sound.

They made their live debut in September and Gravitons Festival marks their live streaming debut.
